Thanksgiving Message

Cultivate the habit of being                                                                  grateful for every good thing                                                                                 that comes to you.

-Ralph W Emerson

Thanksgiving is that special day when family, friends and neighbors gather together to celebrate the blessings of the day.  We gather around the table loaded with special foods of the day; turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes as well as mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and pecan pie, and a myriad of other long-time family specialty foods.

This is a day where we reach out to people we know and want to know better.  We watch the parades and root for our favorite football team.  Maybe we go out and play a game of touch football or a game of horse in basketball.

It is the start of a very special season.  A season of loving others as we love ourselves.  What a glorious time of the year.

It is a time to give thanks, thanks for our family and friends, thanks for God’s blessings, those we know about and those that we don’t know about.  It is time to keep Jesus in our hearts and thank Him for all that he has done for us.

God bless you and your family during this special season.

The Reverend Nancy E. Kin

Welcome to Our Website

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”   John 14:6

God has an incredible journey waiting for each of His children with opportunities to explore and develop a relationship with Him.  He is just waiting for you to take that first step.

Whether you’re taking that first step  or you are mature in your faith journey, whether you are full of unanswered questions or teach Sunday school, whether you are lost or have a set horizon, there is a place for you at Church of the Redeemer.

No matter where you may be in your faith journey, Church of the Redeemer is ready to help you discover new horizons.

When you come to Church of the Redeemer, you will find a warm safe environment where you can relax, enjoy and explore your relationship with Jesus.

We believe in the family worshiping together and encourage children worshiping with the family and participating in Sunday School with other children between services on Sunday.

Sunday morning service is a perfect place to start.  Here you will have an opportunity to meet your neighbors, share a cup of coffee, and listen to the word of the Lord; all the while experiencing God’s unconditional grace and love.

We invite you to join us this Sunday.

In Christ our risen Lord,

Thank you for visiting our website
